Dr. David W. Stevens, Director of Springfield Christian Counseling Services, is anOrdained Minister and a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with a PhD in Christian Counseling Psychology. He is Founder of New World Ministries ( Springfield Ohio ) and serves as Assistant Ohio State Director of the National Christian Counselors Association. Dr. Stevens is an International Representative of the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling and a Diplomate of the National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists. He also holds the following Board Certifications: Temperament Therapy, Child and Adolescent Therapy, Death and Grief Therapy, Crisis and Abuse Therapy, Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Cognitive Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy. Dr. Stevens is a professional member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists.
Dr. Stevens has developed many Outreach Programs, including Silent Advocates Healing Prayer Services and Brothers Keepers. He is creator of The Twelve Steps to Understanding God Series, The Phoenix Weight Loss Program, and is the author of the extraordinary book In the Presence of God: A Book of Truth.
